Bank Reconciliations Clerk

  An opportunity has arisen with a major financial organisation in Leeds for a Bank Reconciliations Clerk.
Duties will include:
Day to day reconciliations
Downloading bank statements
Checking outgoings and incomings are the same on the balance sheet
Querying non-balancing items with relevant departments.
For this role you must:
Be very numerate and confident
A good understanding of debits and credits
Show good attention to detail.
Previous experience with reconciliations would be a distinct advantage as would experience with bank statements.

THE ROLE
You will provide programming support to the helpdesk. This will involve resolving technical issues in the software products and customer's databases and dealing with second line support. You will be working as part of a small dedicated development team, good communication skills are an essential part of the role.
THE PERSON
You will have outstanding programming and database skills, have solid client facing skills and the ability to learn new software concepts quickly is a must. You must have programming skills in VB6, C#.Net or VB.Net coupled to strong SQL and database experience in MS SQL Server or Oracle. On-going training in the company's software and related areas of technology will be provided along with access to MCSD level training and certification.

Experienced PA to Directors

  Title: PA to Directors Salary: £22,000 - £25,000
A confident, patient, and extremely flexible PA is required to join a leading organisation based on the outskirts of Leeds city centre. This is a varied role that involves traditional PA duties along with personal support for the Directors and their family. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced, senior level, PA who is happy to respond to a variety of demands including making tea / lunch as required.
The Role:
In this full-time permanent position you will be responsible for providing PA support to the Directors including dealing with and producing correspondence, telephone calls and booking appointments. Additional responsibilities include looking after company credit cards, mobile phones and the company cars, booking travel (train / air) and accommodation. You will also bank cheques, pay invoices, undertake filing, and general administration duties.
Personal support responsibilities will include making tea, snacks and lunch, booking personal travel arrangements and organising check in, finding out about day care in the area, arranging hospital appointments, getting gas meter readings and dealing with personal mobile phones.
*** A requirement of this role is that you will be on call at weekends in case you required ***
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a confident, patient and flexible PA who has experience of working at a senior level. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, strong MS Office knowledge including Excel, and fantastic communication skills. You must have an "unflappable" personality, the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands, and will have lots of initiative. In addition to this you must be discreet, have good attention to detail and must have a driving licence and car.

Accounts Assistant

  We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant to join this large organisation based in North Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and reconciling on a daily basis payments received and payments made, ensuring business deadlines (hourly and daily) and all internal controls are achieved.
Duties will include:-
Ensuring all payments and refunds are processed within the hourly and daily business deadlines.
Reconciliation of business, control and bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
Providing support and guidance to the homes regarding banking / cash management processes. Offering suggestions for improvement where appropriate or ensuring any training needs are identified and addressed by the business.
Ensuring group policies are adhered to.
To perform any other duties as defined by the Banking & Treasury Team Leader and Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Experience of large company banking transactions in a fast moving environment.
Experience of bank line software, BACS and the appropriate software.
Excellent keyboard skills and proficient excel user.
Qualification by experience and/or qualification through AAT.
Knowledge of treasury functions.
Eye for detail.
