Our client is an integrated marketing agency that provides a strategic and creative approach to marketing and promotion. They have been established for 5 years, have stunning offices within the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and have a client base of businesses large and small across the UK. Due to growth they are looking for a PR Account Manager to join the team and become an integral part of the agency.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the PR campaigns of both the existing national blue chip and regional accounts. You will also focus on maximising opportunities from the client base as well as pitching for new business to contribute to the growth of the agency. On a day to day basis you will be involved in:
* Taking briefs,
* Planning and creating pr campaigns,
* Building sound press relations,
* Driving projects forward,
* Presenting pitches to prospective clients.
THE PERSON
You will be well educated and have a solid background within both consumer and B2B public relations. You will know how to develop relationships with Newspapers, TV and Radio as well as having an engaging and sound writing technique.
You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, with a proven track record in developing good press relations. You will also have a 'can do' attitude and a keen eye for detail.

Head of Brand

  We are currently working on behalf of our client, based in Wetherby to find the right candidate for a priority role of Head of Brand - we are looking to interview and shortlist this role as a priority.

The package on offer is:
Basic inclusive of car allowance - up to £50k dependant upon experience
Standard sales bonus - up to £10k (based on performance against nominated brand targets)
Special sales bonus - up to £10k (based on sales performance for specific brand)
Pension after normal qualifying period and individual health plan
In total the OTE is realistically £70k
The Head of Brand position is a senior and key appointment for a proven sales
manager. The position reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and is
responsible for achievement of approximately £20m sales targets for key peripherals
brands via our clients sales channels. The appointee will co-ordinate with interlinked
support areas (particularly marketing) to ensure activity schedules are optimised to
support the sales objective.
Role in More Detail
? To take responsibility for developing sales plans and agreeing targets with the
relevant Directors for agreed peripherals brands
? To take responsibility for driving activity and achievement of the relevant budget
lines and sales targets.
? To work with relevant support departments (including marketing and
procurement) in the planning, optimisation and execution of relevant sales and
marketing plans.
? To ensure that all client activity is optimised to benefit from manufacturer
activity.
? To ensure all staff receive regular and relevant product training from the manufacturer.
? To be the senior 1st point of contact for relevant brand managers where
established (approx 3 staff) and to head wider teams of brand champions from
across the sales teams (approx 14 staff).
? To be a member of the Senior Management Team and participate fully in tactical
and strategic development of clients sales and business plan.
Experience required
Previous sales managers role ideally in relevant industry (telecomms)
Experience of budget preparation and sales target setting
Experience of campaign management
Experience of sales team management.
Experience of MIS reporting and able to evidence outputs.

  THE ROLE
This opportunity is a front line role assisting in the development of new business within the car parts and motor trade industry.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
*Responsible for the development of new business through lead generation and telephone calls
*Maintaining and developing existing business with Clients
*Assessing Client needs and developing business through promotion and sales
*Carrying out new product demonstrations
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*Experience within the car parts market
*Experience as a Field Sales or Sales Executive
*Strong knowledge of the automotive market
THE PACKAGE
*Salary up to £25,000

*Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm with alternative Saturdays 8am - 1pm
